Being one of the international panelists in the most awaited and the biggest gathering of the world's voice artists, The VoiceMaster has already been preparing for Voice 2012 Creative Experience to be held at the Disneyland in California, USA from June 13 to 16, 2012. Apart from his personal preparations, he also makes sure that he participates in other things that should be done before the event nears. In fact, he has been a constant supporter of the said event's campaign which makes uses of voicing in order to tease the people and give the idea on how to approach them.

The VoiceMaster talks about 'The Art of Voice Acting' on Net 25

The VoiceMaster, together with Cornelius Bascara and Bob Quilapio who are also voice artists and speech trainers, had a questing on Net 25's Homepage, March 26. In the said talk show, the team talked about "The Art of Voice Acting," a topic that is very interesting not just to those who aspire to penetrate to the world of voicing bu to almost everyone. The three, apart from being voice artists and speech trainers, are also parts of the VoiceWorx, the most comprehensive voice acting workshop in the country and the source of the newest breeds of voice artists.

JCI Makati and Makati City Government spearhead this year's 'Ten Outstanding Students of Makati'

Junior Chamber International Makati, one of the VoiceMaster Pocholo Gonzales' affiliations, unite with the Makati City Government in heading this year's Ten Outstanding Students of Makati (TOSM). Ten students who exhibit exemplary performance in leadership both in public and private schools were recorgnized during the Awarding Ceremony held at the Makati City Hall, March 30. Present in the said event were members and officers of the JCI Makati and Makati Mayor Junjun Binay. The hosts during the ceremony were VoiceMaster Pocholo Gonzales and motivational speaker Al Ian Barcelona who is also a JCI Makati Member.  JCI Makati and Makati City Governement both advocate youth empowerment. They have been consistently involved in projects uplifting the youth.

The VoiceMaster speaks in a PMA Batangas event

The VoiceMaster was one of the speakers who shared their knowledge to the attendees of the Philippine Marketing Association Batangas’ “Advertising the Ads – Why Many People Misunderstand the Role of Advertising Today” on March 16, from 1:00-5:00 PM at Anfa Royale Hotel, Grand Royale Ballroom Lipa City. Among the important topics discussed in the said event were The Birth of TVC , What kind of Ads Will Work for You,  The Assault on the Mind of the Consumers,  Pitfalls When Creating Your Ad,  The Magic of Advertising.  

Meeting CJ Corona

The VoiceMaster had a chance not just to meet but also to have a dinner with Chief Justice Corona right in his own office, March 14. Being a part of a citizens' transparency and good governance watch, the VoiceMaster and the group where he belongs has the chance to talk to the chief justice and even ask him a couple of questions.

The VoiceMaster takes part in the Philippines' First Internet Congress

The VoiceMaster, and his company, CreatiVoices Productions, took part in the very first Philippine Internet Congress, March 9 to 11 at the SM Megatrade Hall. The VoiceMaster strikes at PUP San Pedro

Despite the distance and long travel, The VoiceMaster made it in front of more than 500 students of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines San Pedro Campus (PUPSP), March 5. The students, who were mostly from the Junior Executive Management and Marketing Association (JEMMA), were able to witness how the VoiceMaster owned the stage as he delivered his talk about personal branding. The said talk was a part of PUPSP JEMMA's seminar entitled "PUPSP JEMMA Goes Beyond Boarders" and was very suitable for its power not just to break the common misconception that branding is not just about business but is also a very effective means of improving the self through having a personal brand, something that could be very essential in putting up any career. No surprise, the students were not just inspired and informed through the talk but were also able to have fun.

Another batch of new breed of voice artists from VoiceWorx19

Just last March 3, a new batch of successful VoiceWorx students conquered two months of voice acting workshop. Already the 19th batch, they we were welcomed as another batch of new breed of voice artists. VoiceWorx Basic Voice Acting and Dubbing Workshop has already given birth to many good voice artists in the industry including some 'stars' in the same field. This is just part of CreatiVoices Productions,' led by the one and only VoiceMaster Pocholo Gonzales, advocacy to promote voice acting as an art form.

The VoiceMaster supports GoNegosyo's 'Babae Kapuso ka ng Bayan'

A certified entrepreneur, the VoiceMaster supported GoNegosyo's "Babae, Kapuso ka ng Bayan" held at the World Trade Center in Pasay City last March 2. The event is part of GoNegosyo's celebration of the Women's Month. Present in the said event were some of the country's well-renowned entrepreneurs and inspiring speakers including Cynthia Villar, Mel Tiangco, Gov. Grace Padaca, Miriam Quiambao, and Fanny Serrano. From these inspiring speakers, attendees had the chance to learn more about business most especially some tips on how to succeed. It also takes pride in the women sector's very important role in business in the country.

More than 50 graduate from VoiceWorx and SpeechWorx today

VoiceWorx Batch 19, and SpeechWorx Batches 1 and 2 will be having their graduation today, March 3 making more than 50 successful graduates of both CreatiVoices Productions' VoiceWorx and SpeechCommCenter's SpeechWorx. Both graduations will be held at the Red Box Greenbelt 3. VoiceWorx graduation will be from 1:00-3:00pm while SpeechWorx would be from 4:00-7:00pm.

The VoiceMaster goes to DZUP

A proud Iskolar ng Bayan, Pocholo "The VoiceMaster" Gonzales visited DZUP for a guesting, February 27. The VoiceMaster talked about voice acting at the radio show of College of Arts and Letters entitled Kalampagan sa Lunes. The show airs every 6-7pm of Mondays. It is also hosted by Prof. Ginny Banaag Gochuico and Prof. Vlad Gonzales. Its executive producer is Prof. Siao Campoamor. Apart from his passion for voice acting, it was also one of his ways of giving back to his alma mater most especially to his home college. The VoiceMaster finished BA in Speech Communication  at the UP Diliman College of Arts and Letters in 2000 and he  is in fact recognized as one of the successful alumni not just of his program but also of his college. Before the radio show guesting, The VoiceMaster also roamed around the campus. He went back to some spots where he used to stay as a college student. He also visited the famous Oblation with which he had a photograph.

The VoiceMaster visits GVFM in Pampanga

The VoiceMaster visited GVFM in Pampanga, March 1. GV FM is a leading radio station in Pampanga according to a Radio Listening Study conducted by an independent survey. And as a part of his advocacy to promote voice acting as an art and spread the love for this craft, he also visited VoiceWorx19 student Maria Angelica Movido, known to her listeners as DJ Angel. Angel is one of the successful VoiceWorx 19 students who are going to graduate this March 4 after two months of training in voice acting.

The VoiceMaster is JCI Makati's Most Outstanding New Member for 2011

Pocholo "The VoiceMaster" Gonzales was given the Junior Chamber International (JCI) Makati Presidential award for being the 2011 Most Outstanding New Member during the JCI Makati 48th Induction and Turnover Ceremonies last February 24, 2012 at the Metropolitan Club, Rockwell. He was recognized for his priceless contribution for the organization mainly composed of his efforts in continuously improving JCI Makati branding through AVP and 3D animations, being active in the recruitment of new and skillful members, and provided 3D animations/AVP's and other technical services to the National Convention in Zamboanga.

VoiceWorx 19 learns form their final recording

Just because it is fun doesn't mean it cannot be serious. Sure, VoiceWorx 19 students had fun but they were also able to feel nervousness as they faced their final recording for their voice acting workshop, February 25. Led by Mr. Brian Ligsay, they refreshed the things they learned first. More tips were also given to them so that they would be more prepared not just for the day's challenges but also for the things they would try and pursue as they finish the training. Afterwards, they began the final recording wherein they were asked to record the scripts they recorded during the very first meeting. Through this final recording, their improvements since the very first meeting were more obvious. And to be more prepared, Mr. Ligsay also gave his comments and criticisms on their performances so they would know their strengths as well as the points that they still have to work on.

Having the real feel with ‘Ama’

Being hands on is the key. Since the world of voice acting, most particularly dubbing, is what really intrigues and piques the curiosity of people, it is indeed a great chance for anyone to have a glimpse of what dubbers do in real life. And how about trying to feel it?

 

 Just last January 28, VoiceWorx 19 attendees were able not just to take a peek but also to have the feel of what it is like to dub a material under the supervision of the one and only Mr. Danny ‘Ama’ Mandia, a reputable and well-experienced dubbing director for ABS-CBN.

 

 Since Ama wanted to make the session more of ‘hands on’ instead of just being theoretical, he decided to let them try what it is like to be in the business  by undergoing the same processes people in the industry undergo in reality from the preparation of the script to the dubbing proper.

 

 In the process, it was apparent that many students were both nervous and excited. They were also able to feel some kind of stress and adrenaline but nevertheless, conquered everything with a sense of fulfillment.

Déjà vu at The Rizal Shrine

Before his successful talk on “Personal Branding” in Colegio San Juan de Letran- Calamba City, the VoiceMaster decided to pay a visit to the birth place and home of his idol and the National Hero of the Philippines Jose Rizal.



 With the team, he visited the place where Rizal was born and he was raised and there he felt some kind of déjà vu, which he described as “being in a place for the first time but having the feeling as it you have been there before.” He also said that it he has always felt a strong connection to this idol.

 

The VoiceMaster inspires Letran Calamba students

In connection with the celebration of Colegio San Juan de Letran – Calamba City’s School of Education, Arts, and Sciences (SEAS) week, Pocholo “The VoiceMaster” Gonzales was invited as a keynote speaker during their seminar on “Personal Branding” held at the Fra. Angelico Hall, January 26.
In this talk, the VoiceMaster was able to move many students coming from different courses, proving that “Branding” is not just about business and marketing but is also applicable in every individual and is necessary in promoting one’s self through creating the right trademark.
 No surprise, the students who listened to the VoiceMaster’s talk were really inspired after the seminar. They even cherished the chance to have photo opportunities with the VoiceMaster.
 
 It was just one of the many schools that were already visited by the VoiceMaster for his talks on Voice Acting, Guerilla Marketing, Personal Branding, and Youth Leadership. It was also his first speaking engagement in this year and he is expected to visit many schools again to share his knowledge in different fields and inspire people.

Character Voice and Life Lessons from the VoiceMaster

Like what CreatiVoices claims, VoiceWorx is not just a mere basic voice acting ang dubbing workshop. It does not just teach individuals what they should learn in the art of voice acting but also allows them to get more inspiration and life lessons to help them not just in their careers or chosen fields but also in daily life. Which is why, on the workshop's third session with the VoiceMaster Pocholo Gonzales last January 21, the workshop attendees had their dose of motivational and life lessons--things that could inspire them as individuals. It was very natural for the VoiceMaster himself is a well-known motivational speaker. As such, he has already moved thousands of people around the world and he believe that as a mentor, it would also be a great passion to share these inspiring stories to the ones who want to improve as voice artists.

 

This makes VoiceWorx a kind of personality development program at the same time. It does not just aim to teach the students things that they should know in the art of voice acting but also touches on simple daily life lessons which might sound too ordinary but were too helpful in every person's life.

 

Aside from the striking words of wisdom from the VoiceMaster himself, all these were made even easier through the help of some activities that were done inside the class--some activities which, at first, seem so simple yet definitely helpful in one's development. During the workshop, every participant was encouraged to be active, participate well, and relate to his/her co-attendees well.

 

 But of course, apart from the hands-on activities, VoiceWorx also teaches its students how to be a good listener which, in reality, is a very important communication skill.

 

 It is because we believe that apart from learning the basics, it also important for every voice artist or every aspiring one to improve as a person who communicates to his fellow as he goes on with his life. So, it was no surprise that the students learned a lot of things during this day. They not just learned about how to create different voices through the powerful techniques taught to them. They were also able to get some inspiring things that they could carry anywhere they wander.
